Celtic Light

As a photographer and artist, light is one of the primary ingredients needed to make a piece of fine art. The area of the Celts, are magical and holy places of light that illuminate story, place, image and heritage.  This series of images is made from mostly 4×5 large format black and white negatives. These photographs have been scanned with minimal enhancements to preserve and protect the original light and luminance that was seen by the photographer.

The Celtic Light portfolios have been divided into sections: England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Man, Iona, Lindisfarne and others.
