The Coast

DSC_4931-07 cloud swirls Cover photo for WEBOur family moved from Kentucky to Charleston, South Carolina in the early 1950s. This was a major change for me, from a country farm boy to a city teen ager. I spent many days wandering the Sea Islands of South Carolina from Edisto Island to Myrtle Beach and it did not take long to trade in the Kentucky mud to sand between my toes.  Having family that is still living on the coast I go to the region as often as I can, camera in tow, looking for the magical, mysterious photograph to add to my collection. This portfolio is but a sampling of the many photographs I have of the Carolina Coast.
